Fur; This is the obvious one. The fur helps moose stay warm in negative temperatures and is actually insulated.

Antlers; The antlers of a moose make it seem like the moose is bigger and tougher, well it does kind of use them during mating season, but, still.

Hooves; The way the moose’s hooves are, they are good at distributing weight across the snow. This helps them run away from predators without sinking through the snow.

3 Senses; Even though moose have terrible vision, they have a reflective organ in the back of their eye that helps it see at night. Also, to make up for it’s vision, it has great hearing and smell. This might be why they are so alert.

Running Form; By now, we know that moose aren't high up in the food chain. However, their adaptations really make it hard. The next adaptation is how they run. They arch their back and put their antler horizontal, this makes them aerodynamic and prevents snagging with other branches.

Strong Stomach; Moose eat grass, aquatic plants, spruce and pine needles. Some animals can’t digest one of these, the pine needles. In the Taiga leaves have a waxy coat and this might be part of the reason.

Fighting Back; Many moose will fight off wolves when they are being chased. How? It turns out that moose have very strong legs. These legs have been known to kill their predators.
